Summer Is the Best Time to Enjoy Auburn Like a Local

This is a subtitle for your new post

Most people would assume that while school isn't in session, there isn't much to do in Auburn and Opelika. However, the summertime is when these two cities come alive with exciting events and opportunities you won't find in any other season.

Just this summer alone, Auburn hosted NCAA Baseball Regionals and Super Regionals at Plainsman Park, bringing postseason excitement and national attention to the city. Fans packed the stands and broke attendance records, and local businesses welcomed visitors from across the country.

Jordan-Hare Stadium even welcomed the Road to 26 World Cup soccer match featuring Argentina and Iceland, transforming one of college football's most iconic venues into a global sports destination. Events like these continue to put Auburn on the national stage and show that summer in the Plains can be every bit as exciting as the fall.

With fewer students in town, some of your favorite restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, and local businesses become easier to enjoy. The long wait times disappear, parking becomes simpler, and you can take your time exploring downtown Auburn and Opelika.

It's a chance to experience the city the way locals do—and discover new favorite places along the way.
